With our motto, \u201cAll our attention is on you,\u201d we provide attentive and respectful care, free from judgment.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>What will you do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a first-trimester abortion care physician, you will play a key role in ensuring that care at Mildred Clinics is provided professionally and to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include: <\/p>\n<p>Office Hours<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Decision-Making Support and Intake Interviews<\/li>\n<li>Counseling based on medical history, gestational age, and the client&#8217;s wishes<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up Checks<\/li>\n<li>Contraceptive Counseling and Advice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Performing Treatments<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical treatment (abortion pill)<\/li>\n<li>Extraction under sedation (with an anesthesiologist) or local anesthesia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be working in a multidisciplinary team with nurses and receptionists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we expect from you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We believe it is important that you are committed to providing abortion care. Your actions are guided by the principle of providing quality care in the client\u2019s best interest. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have completed a degree in medicine<\/li>\n<li>You must be BIG-registered (required)<\/li>\n<li>You have some clinical experience. Don&#8217;t have any experience as an abortion doctor? At Mildred Clinics, you&#8217;ll receive all the necessary training.  <\/li>\n<li>You have strong communication skills (Dutch and English required); knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus<\/li>\n<li>You can manage the team as needed<\/li>\n<li>You have a flexible attitude<\/li>\n<li>You are empathetic and practical<\/li>\n<li>You are patient, value a positive atmosphere within your team, and invest in building relationships with clients<\/li>\n<li>You are available to work on varying days, according to an agreed-upon schedule<\/li>\n<li>You are willing to work at both Mildred Clinics locations (Arnhem and Eindhoven)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p><strong>What do we offer?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary: in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Hospitals (first-trimester abortion physician, FWG 70)<\/li>\n<li>(Training) contract for the duration of the training program (duration depends on prior experience)<\/li>\n<li>Collective health insurance<\/li>\n<li>Expanded travel reimbursement<\/li>\n<li>Pension at PFZW<\/li>\n<li>Eye for a good private work balance<\/li>\n<li>A schedule based on regular hours<\/li>\n<li>A compact and close-knit team<\/li>\n<li>An in-house training program to become an abortion physician (first trimester), in which you shadow experienced colleagues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><br><\/div>\n<div><strong>Apply<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>Does this position and our organization appeal to you?
