On the International Day for Safe Abortion, PRO is introducing the private member’s bill “Abortion Is Healthcare.” The proposal would repeal Article 296 on abortion from the Penal Code.
Together with the Dutch Association of Abortion Physicians (NGvA) and other Dutch abortion clinics, we believe that abortion care belongs within the healthcare system and not in the Penal Code.
