On Wednesday, April 20, 2022, Minister Kuipers and 3 colleagues paid a working visit to Mildred Clinics at the Arnhem location.
Here he got an insight into our work and we discussed various substantive topics including the 2 bills now before the Senate.
As Minister Kuipers himself looks back:
“Dutch abortion care is of high quality and easily accessible. At Mildred Clinics in Arnhem, where I visited today, this was easy to see.
I spoke with clinic staff about the importance of their work and how they provide good professional care every day to women (and their partners) in difficult circumstances.
Mildred Clinics also participates in the program Now Not Pregnant. An important program that looks at how an abortion clinic can reduce the number of unintended pregnancies and repeat abortions.”
