Rutgers report: 41% of women do not use contraceptives

Today shows the report from Rutgers shows that 41% of women do not use contraceptives.

Even in our abortion clinic, we see many women who have become pregnant unintentionally. Because they either do not use a proper method or use the method in the wrong way.

Our focus is on counseling the unintended pregnancy, for client and partner. In doing so, we always discuss methods to prevent recurrence in the future. Thus, in our clinic we also place long-term contraception, such as an IUD.

We hope – with this report and others – for even more attention for methods that women and men can use to prevent an unintended pregnancy.
